Metrorail

Posted by Eric Fry (Houston, TX, United States) on 7 January 2009 in Transportation and Portfolio.

Houston's sad attempt at mass transit, the Metrorail travels a 7.5 mile track through downtown Houston. Sad that a metropolitan area of almost four million people is taxed to build and maintain a service that benefits only 45,000 people. But, Houston has a long history of serving special interests rather than the needs of the masses; our state of the art football and baseball stadiums that average people can't afford tickets to are proof of that.

I'm so ready to move out to the country.

Thanks for visiting, and I hope you all have a great day,
Eric
