Uptown Park in the Cold

Posted by Eric Fry (Houston, TX, United States) on 28 December 2008 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

A little over a week ago, Barry and I went around Houston for a few hours getting a few shots. The temperature was just below freezing, and we had bouts of freezing rain on and off, but we did manage to get a few good shots. This is a five-exposure HDR taken just after dawn from a parking garage on Houston's west loop. The area in the photo is an upscale shopping district known as Uptown Park. We had to keep the truck running to warm up every few minutes on that cold, windy morning.

Thanks for visiting, and I hope you all have a great day,
Eric
