Bird 1

I very rarely photograph birds, as my camera just won't capture the images with the clarity and sharpness that I like, but here are three images that came out fairly well.

I really love the light catching the breast feathers almost like a ruff.

Nice capture...I too like the highlighting of the feathers...I also like the horizontal lines of color in the water.

Excellent clarity on the bird, Eric... the reflections in the water make me think of looking through a window for this photo...

@Earnest: Thanks, Ernie. That look in the water is from the light mist rising from the warm water on that cold morning.
