Back in my high school days, my friends and I drank a lot of beer while sitting on the pier at the right of the photo. Threw a lot of beer into the water when the Sheriff's Deputy would drive up...

@Helen: It's a nice, quiet place these days now that there's no access to the river anymore. I was a fairly busy boat launch back in my youth.
