East End Park - Entrance

Posted by Eric Fry (Houston, TX, United States) on 7 November 2008 in Landscape & Rural.

My entry for Kylie Greenan's "My Favorite Place" challenge.

If I had a favorite place to be, it would be here. I can't begin to tell you how many of my photos have been taken here, I guess I should go back and tag them all just to find out. Beautiful reflections by the river, open fields and blue skies, shaded trails, old trees, wildlife, flowers and fungi, insects (LOTS of insects); it's really a one-stop supermarket for nature photography. And to think that it's less than ten minutes from my house.

I've gotten to where I don't even care if I get any good photos or not when I go there; it's just such a relaxing and peaceful place to walk.

Thanks for visiting, and I hope you all have a great day,
Eric
