After Ike - East End Park 1

Posted by Eric Fry (Houston, TX, United States) on 1 October 2008 in Landscape & Rural.

If you've been visiting my site for a while, you've seen many photos that have been taken at East End Park in Kingwood. The park took quite a bit of damage in Ike, and just won't be quite the same for the rest of the year. Next Spring, the new growth will heal these wounds and new rain will wash away the silt. But for now, Ike has turned the lush green tones into browns and grays prematurely.

(I had said earlier that I probably wouldn't be doing much HDR work, but I've become fascinated with it. I need to remind myself to try and stick to 3-exposure HDR's, as they look quite a bit more natural than those with more exposures.)

Thanks for visiting, and I hope you all have a great day,
Eric
