Available LightPosted by Eric Fry (Houston, TX, United States) on 25 August 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. "All Four Winds together can't bring the world to me; "Available Light" - Rush
There are a couple of blotches near the top that I tried to clone out, but I'm not too good at that yet. I didn't realize that the sea spray had gotten on my lens... Thanks for visiting, and I hope you all have a great day, Check out the photography of a friend of mine outside of Aminus3:

dj.tigersprout from San Bruno, CA, United Statesa stunning and powerful image -- radiating with light and energy!! wonderful blue hues and lovely yellows and golds! beautiful detailing too -- nearly surreal! 25 Aug 2008 5:56am @dj.tigersprout: Thanks, DJ! We had left the deck and were sitting on the beach throwing leftover pasta to the crabs and seagulls when this cloud passed in front of the sun. I had to run back upstairs, as I had left my camera and tripod on the deck from shooting the sunrise! saeed from ahwaz, IranIts glorious indeed Eric! the colours and lights are really great and gorgeous! splendid shot and nicely done! 25 Aug 2008 6:56am @saeed: Thank you so much, Saeed! @leslie: Thank you very much, Leslie, I really appreciate it! jamesy from christchurch, New ZealandWOW!!! photo of the day for me. Being a beginner this HDR seems too complicated but man I like this. 25 Aug 2008 7:18am @jamesy: Thank you so much, Jamesy! It really isn't all that complicated, as the Photomatix program does the hardest part, it's a lot like any other post-processing other than that. It's just really time consuming, especially when you factor in that I've redone this photo about 4 times! LOL. The more I looked at it, the more I wanted to adjust certain things in it, mostly the noise level and the saturations. @Ana Lúcia: Thank you very much, Ana Lúcia! Linerberry from Sumner, Christchurch, New ZealandWow, what a stunner, I'm with Jamesy on this, deff a fave of the day! So dramatic and the cloud really does have a silver lining:-) Splendido!! 25 Aug 2008 8:48am @Linerberry: Thank you very much, Liners! I was stunned, too, when I started doing th tone mapping for the HDR; There was mo detail in the clouds than I could have imagined! Francesc B. from région parisienne, FranceImpressive and dreamy sky, Eric ! a good PP work. 25 Aug 2008 9:14am @Francesc B.: Thank you so much, Francesc! The main thing I contributed was being in the right place at the right time to catch this beauty; the real work here was a wonderful gift to me that I'm so happy to be able to share with everyone. zOOm from Paris, FranceGreat rendering...
