Under the Bridge Again

Posted by Eric Fry (Houston, TX, United States) on 13 August 2008 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio.

Same bridge as yesterday's photo, but taken mid-day about a month later. I'm going to have to get a filter set-up for my camera to level out the highlights a bit.

Thanks for visiting, and I hope you all have a great day,
Eric

@saeed: Thank you very much, my friend! The symmetry and reflections are what I liked about it, too.

Just goes to prove that if you can lead the eye you have a great shot, regardless of what it is taken of. You are a clever man Eric.

In comparison to yesterdays photo, this beats it by miles..! The BW is great, the composition is great, and how you 'saw' the shot, then lined up symetrically to get this shot is also great..!

@Observing: Thank you so much, Mike! I figured you would like this one. ;)

Kylie Greenan from Richmond, Australia

Wow Eric, this is so three dimensional, totally awesome shot, it looks like you are standing in the water to take the image, very impressive! Well done.

A lovely, rich b&w with a great sense of weight in that structure. The water looks kinda evil.
