Thanks for the compliment, DJ. The only thing I don't like about this image is the shadiness of it. It was actually more colorful than it seems here, but if I had pushed the lighting and saturation much more in Lightroom, it would have looked artificial. I'm about to get a ring light (not a ring flash) for my camera, and have figured out a pretty good DIY diffuser for my flash using Teflon tape! I think that I'll be able to capture some macros much more effectively with better detail and colors once I do that.
