An Owl's Eye Butterfly caterpillar. These caterpillars range from 4 to 6 inches in length.

@Earnest: They are incredibly small for something this size, aren't they. Seem like this would make quite a meal for a bird or frog.

I'm in awe. The lines of the caterpillar and the leaf contrasting both parallel and at angles to each other really make this an intriguing shot. Beautiful.
