@saeed: Thank you very much, Saeed! @Ekaputra Tupamahu: Thanks, Ekaputra! @Veronelle: Merci, Veronelle. It is another species of dragonfly we have in this area. @willow: Thanks, Willow! I'm glad someone understood the reference! @Bill Ault: Thanks, Bill! dj.tigersprout from San Bruno, United Statesnice shot here! we have so few large insects here... pretty much only flies! :( 26 Jun 2008 10:57pm @dj.tigersprout: Thanks, DJ. There are a lot of good-sized bugs here, but most of them aren't very cooperative with photographers. MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomThis is fantastic Eric, how wonderful it must be to have these beautiful creatures flying around you. 27 Jun 2008 12:50pm @MaryB: Thank you, Mary. We are blessed (and cursed) with all sorts of interesting bugs here in Texas. These dragonflies are some of the good guys; they eat mosquitoes, and there's never a shortage of food for them. @zecarlos: Thank you, Zecarlos! |
