These are normally very shy, but this one was very cooperative for several photos. @Dimitrios: Thank you, Dimitrios! @Observing: Thanks, Mike! It was a lot of fun getting some shots of this guy at different angles. saeed from ahwaz, IranNice green! well done with LED and Headlights of car!! a team work shot! ;) 22 Jun 2008 1:14pm @saeed: Thanks, Saeed! It's always a lot of fun when Barry and I can do some photography together. @crafts: Thanks, Crafts! Earnest from Oklahoma, United StatesThat's a great method of lighting... but getting Barry's car could be a problem for me... It's a great photo. 22 Jun 2008 2:20pm @Earnest: hahaha...Normally it would be a problem for me, too, but we happened to be hanging out one night, and noticed this little guy on the rain gutter as we were leaving. Thanks, Earnest. Andres Abon from Plano, United StatesWell done! And the frog is very cute! I haven't seen this kind of frog in TX, where was this? 22 Jun 2008 11:49pm @Andres Abon: This was taken just northeast of Houston in a suburb called Kingwood. I'm not sure of the proper name for these; we just call them tree frogs or spring peepers. They fairly common around here, but fairly shy and elusive. You can hear hundreds of them n the woods at night. dj.tigersprout from San Bruno, United Stateshe's a lovely green frog, he is! doens't seem scared of you... :) great shot! 22 Jun 2008 11:49pm @dj.tigersprout: Thanks, DJ! |
