Iridescence

Posted by Eric Fry (Houston, TX, United States) on 26 May 2008 in Animal & Insect.

OK, after some complaints from some friends and a phone conversation with a dear friend from Dallas Sunday night, I've been convinced to post some pictures again. I may not have a new posting every day, as I will hold myself to a higher standard than I previously have, but there will still be new photos on a (somewhat) regular basis.

In this shot, I'm not pleased with the focus, but the iridescence and color in the wings was too nice to discard. I'm also doing some experimentation with the Diagonal Method of composition, and I like the results I'm getting, especially here. It seems to work well with certain nature photos.

Thanks for visiting, and I hope you all have a great day,
Eric
