CopperheadPosted by Eric Fry (Houston, TX, United States) on 6 May 2008 in Animal & Insect. Closeup of the female copperhead in yesterday's photo. As I bent down to get a closer shot, I entered a bit more shade and had to use the flash to get a decent image. Taken at East End Park, Kingwood, TX. Thanks for visiting, and I hope you all have a great day, Check out the photography of a friend of mine outside of Aminus3:

Barry from Kingwood, United StatesHere, try this apple, no-really it okay! Great picture my friend. 6 May 2008 11:33am @Malpraxis: A very accurate assessment of this snake. Out of the four venomous snakes here in the USA, the copperhead is usually the boldest. They like to strike first, then flee. Alex from Madrid-Asturias, Spainvery nice shot..but i´m afraid of snakes..yesterday i was running a cross the countryside when i saw a really big one. i think i´ve never run so fast! 6 May 2008 1:03pm Earnest from Oklahoma, United StatesSeems I hardly ever have a camera when I encounter a snake. I'm glad you did and these guys are inhabitants of our woods too. It's an excellent photo. 6 May 2008 2:40pm Doug from Long Beach, United StatesI am such a city boy. I look at that and think, Yeah, let's use the flash on the big snake; that's a good idea. You are both talented and brave. 7 May 2008 6:54am |
