Fly on the Wall...
Posted by Eric Fry (Houston, TX, United States) on 19 December 2007 in Animal & Insect.
A cool front slowed this guy down enough for me to capture. I was too close for flash to work right, so illumination was provided by a small LED flashlight.
I want to thank everyone for all the great compliments. I'll get around to replying individually to them (once I figure out how). {edit: I figured out how it works!} I've only been serious about creating good photographs for a few months now, before that, I only used a cheap Nikon L10 digital for snapshots. I'm still somewhat limited with my Nikon P5100, but I'm getting to learn more about exposure, aperture, shutter speed, etc., with it. I'm working more on composition, now, but I've brought out some older insect shots after being inspired by Dang and his great insect macros.
Thanks again to everyone, I'm really enjoying the community here and have officially moved my photoblog from blogspot to here.

Thanks for visiting, and I hope you all have a great day,
